Attica, In. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Albany, Ky., Methodist Church for John S. Flowers, 46, of 924 S. Perry. He was killed in an auto accident Saturday three miles north of Attica on the Riverside Road. Burial will be in the Albany Cemetery. The body is at the DeSutter Funeral Home. Friends will be received after 5 pm. today. The body will be transferred tomorrow to the Dyer Funeral Home in Albany, Ky. Friends will be received there after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Born Aug 21, 1921, at Albany, Ky., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Flowers, who survive and reside in Albany. He was married May 15, 1942, at Albany to Thelma Cross, who survives. Mr. Flowers was employed as a grinder at Harrison Steel Foundry and was a veteran of World War II. He had resided in Attica for the past three years and had formerly resided at Winchester and New Castle. Other survivors include two sons, John C., who was in the auto and is in critical condition at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, and Billie Joe at home; two daughters, Deborah at home and Mrs. Peggy Huddleston of New Castle; a brother Willie of Albany; and four sisters, Mrs. Lora Guffey, Mrs Ova Sells and Mrs. Evelyn Daniel , all of New Castle and Mrs Alene Wallen of Winfall, Ind. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
